Fairytale Wedding Shoot at Adare Manor (Part One)

Weddings are made of love and trust and fairydust…
Every now and then I like to take a step back and imagine what it would be like if my life was a book I was reading. Everything suddenly seems more interesting, gripping and beautiful. That’s one of the reasons I believe fairy-tales are real.

My boyfriend and I certainly had moments in our relationship that felt like they were taken out of a movie. When we both got each other as Secret Santa in college before we were even going out, or when he decided to surprise me at the airport and kiss me for the first time. I collect those moments like fairy-dust. I love to find out other couples’ individual stories.

They are the essence behind my photographs and one of the reasons I focus on weddings in my work.

So it was only natural that I decided to add a hint of fairy-tale magic to a styled shoot I was photographing for the summer issue of the Irish Wedding Journal.

The team that came together for the shoot, were a very talented and passionate bunch that were on the same wavelength throughout the creative process. Carmel, the stylist extraordinaire put together six beautiful looks that I will be sharing over 3 separate posts.
