When The Great Gatsby came out in the cinema, me and my stylist friend Sarah were jumping for joy to know it’s going to refresh the love for the roaring twenties in many people. Along with a brilliant Galway team we decided to create a fashion shoot using sustainable and ethical clothing from some of Galway’s hottest boutiques such as Portobello, Sirona, Public Romance and Cotton face Vintage. They have made reliving the jazz age style for any occasion so easy, stylish and affordable!
We had to use all our restraint not to share the images with you sooner, as it was getting published this week. The girls over at One Fab Day did a gorgeous write-up about it which you can read here.
This 1920′s shoot was created with ethical and sustainable fashion in mind, meaning it uses vintage, recycled, reused and ethically made pieces. Evoking all the glamour romance and affluence of the 1920′s and a style worthy of one of Gatsby’s parties.
